Musician, fighter, enthusiast: Over the last four decades, Enoch zu Guttenberg has established an outstanding reputation as interpreter of symphonic works and great oratorios.

In addition to guest engagements with important national and international orchestras he particularly has been forging a close relationship with his two ensembles KlangVerwaltung Orchestra and the Chorgemeinschaft Neubeuern. For many years he has been fascinating a growing audience of listeners critical of the conventional music business with his unique, historically adept and both, contentually and emotionally rich performances. In 2000, he was appointed artistic director of the international Herrenchiemsee Festival which he has been establishing ever since as an island in the ocean of music festivals through his unique personality. For his work the conductor has received many awards, among them the Deutscher Kulturpreis (German Cultural Award) and the Bundesverdienstkreuz (Order of Merit 1st class of the Federal Republic of Germany). His work has been documented in numerous television productions and CD recordings.

In 2009 Guttenberg and his ensembles, the orchestra KlangVerwaltung and choir Chorgemeinschaft Neubeuern joined the Hongkong Music Festival and the Beijing Music Festival in China where they performed works of Joseph Haydn with great success.
